Thank you for posting this amazing work; a simultaneous indictment of humanity’s greed and amorality and a reminder that it is possible to live as an ethical human being even in the mud and blood, if one cares enough.
The poem is merciless in showing us the ignoble and the noble, side by side, it was painful to watch and hear, but beautiful in its own way.
I can only hope that some day no more young men and women will die because of the lies of venal, old men.
