Here are three of the images being considered for a chapbook entitled biting elbows, a collaborative effort by Gerard Bellaart and myself resulting from a visit to his studio in Le Liboreau, France.

The techniques for making the images were “monotype” and “oil transfer.” Bellaart points out that most of Paul Klee‘s later work was done in the oil transfer medium and that his use of the technique has “never been surpassed.”
