Serious Popcorn

Where are the great films nowadays? Not in the cineplex, typically - or even the video store,
unless you look for those one-of-a-kind boxes on the margins. On DVD they are available from Netflix and its rivals. But always they are hard to pick out. Serious Popcorn will help you to do that. Like you, I choose films the way I choose music or books: according to whim, impulse, or well thought out interest. For the next few months (late '07 and early '08), Serious Popcorn will serve mainly as a tip sheet. That's because I am busy writing a book. But I never stop searching for great films, so stay with me!
