But he rejects that and says he is calling for a moratorium on building new AI data centers because he is concerned about an existential threat to humankind. ‘The U.S. Congress hasn’t a clue,’ he says, ‘as to how to respond to AI’s revolutionary technological changes and how to protect the American people.’
