MFAH Picks Gary Tinterow — UPDATED

Just announced: the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, has chosen Gary Tinterow, longtime curator at the Metropolitan Museum, as its new director — replacing the late Peter Marzio.

Tinterow’s move will be good for both museums.
