Some poets have a talent for drawing. Mark Terrill is one. I am charmed by these sketches of his
and have posted another as well. He makes no claims for them. They’re just one of his habits.
After seeing these sketches, I asked Terrill’s permission to post them. He gave it and replied:
"It's really just a form of meditation for me, trying to render what is in front of me without getting all caught up in the phenomenological / philosophical aspects of what's going on behind the phenomena or what's causing them or what they might mean. Just a straight visual reading (if there is such a thing). The way my mind works it's relaxing to focus on a single thing as objectively as possible."
