To my surprise, on the rare occasions when I divert from the main topic and post illustrated accounts of cycling excursions, Rifftides readers ask for more. Okay. This morning my Italian friend Vigorelli Bianchi took me 35 miles through farmland, orchard country and high desert. It is difficult with a camera to emphasize the hilliness of the hills. Take my word for itthey are hilly and they are long.

End of report. I need a nap. Have a good weekend.
And a picture of you in your bicycle attire??

If I could find a place to put pedals, a seat, and a chain on the vibes, I’d take them everywhere. (Technically, with the motor, would they be classified as an xtracycle?)
Ah, now that the weather is beginning to approximate to summer here in UK I may start out again on the old Raleigh Record Ace, a standard ‘tourer’ which felt luxurious when new. I know those innocuous looking slopes of – 1 in 25? London however is another ballgame called ‘Survival’.
