A richly deserved award. Anyone reading the book about Paul Desmond will end up knowing more about him than anyone did before the inputs were assembled and the book written. Kudos to Doug Ramsey, the author.
Doug Ramsey’s Take Five: The Public and Private Lives of Paul Desmond was so well written and detailed that it seemed to bring its subject to life. Congratulations, Doug!
