Quick Study: Rethinking Theater Arts

This month, we discuss Emerging from the Cave, a study commissioned by the Sundance Institute and authored by Jesse Cameron Alick.     The study itself is remarkable for its candor and sense of risk — and play. In addition to what it says about the future of live performance, it has a huge amount to teach us about “performing” data. The arts field has been learning (gradually) about more powerful and expressive forms of data visualization, now time for making data speak.. Bring on more examples.
