When I first moved to California in 1972, I remember buying the "first light" album. I was blown away with this musical arrangement of Freddie Hubbard playing the trumpet like this! It was like seeing and hearing this musical genius, connecting and moving his creative mind & soul in this new genre album that was artistically well done!
