Kyle, my first draft of the notes to your Planets album, I included a reference to the Swedish band ABBA, whose tunes are so infectious that they stay in one’s head for days. “Hummable,” I believe the term would be. I eventually took it out, but I’d argue that your ability to compose “earworms” is on a par with theirs.
KG replies: Well I wouldn’t want my tunes to get *stuck* in people’s heads, necessarily, but I do like for people, once they have one measure down, to be able to go on from there. And I can hum an ABBA tune or two, believe it or not.
