    Ahhh. Foyles! I spent many many hours and Pounds Sterling there in the 70’s.
    But look how CLEAN the street looks! That IS Charing Cross Road, right?
    In 73, across the street, was BETTER BOOKS, the “underground” bookstore for the latest avant garde literature and theater, run by John Calder.
