America: Love It or Laugh Your Fool Head Off

Once again we see what happens when you let the fox into the chicken coop.

Just a reminder, sir. The NRA is not a Republican organization any more than the PMRC was a Democratic organization. While the NRA has in the past stood up for protecting citizens, hunters and homeowners alike, this seems a critical misstep. However, blaming this on something so baldly partisan is just as reprehensible as claiming that simply being a Democrat makes you a traitor because Nancy Pelosi potentially violated the Logan Act.I will continue to say that certain politicians of both parties are more concerned with retaing political power than with making our nation safe, and in the process are unwittingly or no, providing support to our enemies by encouraging defeatism at home. You can of course, continue to disagree, while we still have a First Amendment.

I don't want to carry water for the NRA, but if their point is that the US Constitution applies to terrorist suspects (i.e. due process), then I find myself in agreement.
