    About New Works Fest

For over 22 years, On the Boards (OtB) has celebrated the most innovative artists from our community and region through an annual showcase of new work and works-in-progress called the Northwest New Works (NWNW) Festival. This year 16 artist/companies from Seattle and Portland will showcase their newest performance experiments over two weekends, on two stages. These artists are defining the region’s future in dance, theater, music and multimedia performance. The NWNW Festival runs Saturdays and Sundays for two weekends in OtB’s Studio and Mainstage Theaters, April 2-3 and April 9-10. Studio performances will run from 5-6pm; Mainstage performances will run from 8-9:30pm, with free performance installations in the lobby half-hour prior to the 8pm curtain. Between the 5pm and 8pm performances, NWNW Festival patrons will be able to enjoy discounts at the following neighborhood restaurants: Floyd's Place, T.S McHugh's, Roti, Perche'No, 10 Mercer and The Sitting Room.
