    About Last Seen & Convenience

    ABOUT LAST SEEN:

Last Seen pits the timeless world of the fairy tale directly alongside modern day life to pry open the essence of the story Hansel and Gretel. Experimenting with new approaches to storytelling and providing a full sensory experience, Last Seen is a moving and amusing exploration of sonic and movement textures. The fairy tale’s earthy and rustic qualities are juxtaposed with a sleek, sterile set with metal benches and a white, plastic wall. Elements of airport travel (complete with flight attendants) as well as the chaos and haunting memories of family life ask us to consider who we are when we travel, who we are when we’re home and who we are when we’re lost.

    ABOUT CONVENIENCE:

convenience is locust's largest, most ambitious work-to-date, full of original, music, video, and an ensemble cast of some the strongest stage personalities in Seattle, including Keeble, O’Neal, powerhouse dancer Ellie Sandstrom, and physical actors Troy Miszklevitz and Gabriel Baron. Wheels, springs, "dancefighting", and Velcro inspire the dissection of human fascination with objects and concepts that seem to make life easier and create a temporary fix to getting what you want.
