About Alorie Clark

Alorie Clark joined Step Afrika! as the Arts Education Manager in November 2014. She manages all local programs and performances for Pre-K through 12th grade students. Focusing on expanding Step Afrika!'s arts education initiatives, she also develops new programs and continues to evaluate and improve existing efforts. Prior to Step Afrika!, Alorie served as National Arts Strategies’ Executive and Accounting Assistant. Alorie earned a Bachelor's in Theatre Arts Administration from Howard University, and a Master's in Arts Management from American University. A native of Philadelphia, she has lived and worked in DC for 10 years.

Developing a career plan was natural for me, as I was fortunate to discover what I wanted to do at a very early age.
