The League staff is headed down to Nashville this week to present our annual national Conference--which you can check out by following this link.

I'm sure I'll have a great deal to report upon my return, but I suspect I'll be too busy to blog during the Conference. In the meantime, I encourage you to visit the League's "Engaging Art" blog--and while you're there, to join the discussion.

Wonderful news has been received from Atlanta - the Atlanta Journal-Constitution has re-appointed their music critic, Pierre Ruhe, as one of two "reporter/critics" in the reorganization of the staff of the paper...

What started out as a sad story from Atlanta, where the Atlanta Journal-Constitution decided to eliminate designated titles for arts critics and to reduce the number of reviews, is now looking more and more like a trend that is gathering momentum with the speed of light...
