Matt Lehrman is an arts marketer, strategic planner, teacher and consultant for arts & cultural organizations that care about advancing artistic mission, financial strength and audience engagement. His practice, Audience Avenue LLC, is dedicated to revealing options and opportunities from the “audience side” of an organization’s mission statement – through strategic planning, audience development planning and business model planning.
For 12 years, Matt served as founder and CEO of Alliance for Audience & ShowUp.com – a collaborative audience development initiative in Arizona. Prior to that, he served 8 years as Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. For the 2013-14 season, he served as Interim Managing Director of Arizona Theatre Company.
Matt also is a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University where he has taught arts entrepreneurship, arts business management and art & public policy.

Matt Lehrman and his wife Toby (and their chocolate lab, Hope) reside in Scottsdale, Arizona. They are the parents of Harrison, a Los Angeles-based improviser and comedian and Marissa, a graduate student at Harvard University.
