Jim\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s long-running Sunday series has become a regular date for listeners not only in the Pacific Northwest but also\u00e2\u20ac\u201dbecause it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s on the internet\u00e2\u20ac\u201dfor music lovers around the world. Here are Jim\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s rundown on what he plans for this Sunday, and links that will take you to the program.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-9685\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/rifftides\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Anschell-618-300x278.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"278\" \/>For the first weekend of summer, <em>Jazz Northwest<\/em> features a collection of resident duos and trios playing music for those lazy summer days and nights.<\/p>\n<p>Songs about flowers, lullabies, and fishing are a few of the highlights, and there&#8217;s music by two Lennies (Bernstein and Tristano). We&#8217;ll also have recent releases by <em>Scenes (<\/em>guitarist John Stowell, bassist Jeff Johnson, drummer John Bishop); the 200 Trio; Reuel Lubag Trio; <em>duende libre<\/em>; and saxophonist Hans Teuber and bassist Johnson in duo. Pianists Bill Anschell (pictured left), and Dawn Clement are also included.<\/p>\n<p>Jazz Northwest is produced and hosted by Jim Wilke.
