If anyone finds a copy of this, pounce on it. I wish I still had mine.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mr. Narunsky&#8217;s message prompted a quest by the <em>Rifftides<\/em> research staff. They discovered, to their surprise and delight, that the classic album by two Reds and a Jim has been reissued, disguised under the title of another rare session. Drummer Chico Hamilton recorded <em>Blues on the Rocks<\/em> with Hall and bassist George Duvivier in 1956. <em>Good Friday Blues<\/em> and <em>Blues on the Rocks<\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&#038;location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FBlues-Rocks-Jim-Hall%2Fdp%2FB0009SQ6Z6%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dmusic%26qid%3D1174448686%26sr%3D1-1&#038;tag=rifftidougram-20&#038;linkCode=ur2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325\"target=\"_blank\">are on one CD<\/a>; engaging early work by the guitarist and four equally distinguished colleagues. Pounce, indeed.
