Published in 1989, &#8220;Sweet, Sweet Spirit&#8221;&#8221;\u00a0by gospel composer Doris Akers became a favorite of Elvis Presley, who sometimes sang it with The Stamps Quartet but did not record it with them. Gospel devotees consider The Stamps to be one of the genre\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s quintessential groups. This may help to explain why.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WjZuIT_NTJ8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In the recording, Chestnut plays \u00e2\u20ac\u0153There\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s A Sweet, Sweet Spirit\u00e2\u20ac\u009d unaccompanied, slowly and with deep feeling.
