It is all but certain that Vinson also wrote \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Tune Up,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d another modern jazz standard for which Davis took credit. Regardless of authorship, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Four\u00e2\u20ac\u009d quickly became a jazz standard following its first recording by Davis on his 1954 Prestige album <em>Blue Haze. <\/em>It<em>&#8221;\u00a0<\/em>has been performed countless times since.<\/p>\n<p>During a visit to Copenhagen in 1968, Sonny Rollins tackled \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Four\u00e2\u20ac\u009d with a rhythm section of Kenny Drew, piano; Niels-Henning \u00c3\u02dcrsted Pedersen, bass; and Albert \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Tootie\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Heath, drums. Rollins sets the scene with an unaccompanied introduction in which he does not quote every song he ever heard.
