Among them are Horace Silver\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s title tune, Dave Brubeck\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The Duke,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d two Ennio Morriconne film themes and Antonio Carlos Jobim\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Zingaro.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d In \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Body and Soul, with spare accompaniment by Larry Grenadier\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s bass, Stephens\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 baritone playing emphasizes the brilliance of Johnny Green\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s melody. The two are equally effective on \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Moonglow.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Grenadier, pianist Brad Mehldau and drummer Eric Harland enrich \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I Left My Heart in San Francisco.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d On tenor, Stephens gives Astor Piazzolla\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s tango \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Oblivion\u00e2\u20ac\u009d a thoughtful straight reading of the melody and a rangy improvisation, with striking solos by Grenadier and guitarist Julian Lage.
