Jim Wilke\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s <em>Jazz Northwest<\/em> broadcast on Sunday will present Green\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s trio with bassist David Wong and drummer Rodney Green. Mr. Wilke recorded their concert this summer on Washington State\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Olympic Peninsula. The concert was recorded last July at Centrum&#8217;s Jazz Port Townsend for this broadcast. <\/p>\n<p>Benny Green is a powerful pianist with a deep sense of swing.  Not surprising, because he came up as a sideman in two great universities of the road, as a member of Betty Carter&#8217;s group and with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers.
