Not only is this CD revelatory with respect to BB and his playing but the composers of the 8 tunes are quite a mix: Bill Holman, Marka Lackner, Maria Schneider, Manny Albam, Jim McNeely, Frank
\nPeinshagen, Ed Partyka and John Hollenbeck. The concept, the compositions and the playing are all extraordinary.
\nAnd from the sublime to something a little less sublime, The Ed Palermo Big Band: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/redirect.html?link_code=ur2&tag=rifftidougram-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB000F5WN5U%2Fqid%3D1152829915%2Fsr%3D2-1%2Fref%3Dpd_bbs_b_2_1%3Fs%3Dmusic%26v%3Dglance%26n%3D5174\"target=\"_blank\">Take Your Clothes Off When you Dance<\/em><\/a> (Cuneiform Records, 2006).
