It was guitarist Jimmy Raney&#8217;s date, with Jim Hall also on guitar; Zoot Sims, tenor saxophone; Steve Swallow, bass and Osie Johnson, drums. Devra Hall reports on two sources for the album.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This album included the first recording of dad&#8217;s tune &#8220;All Across the City&#8221;; he wrote it for that record date. It was on Mainstream Records and they released a CD as well as an LP. (I have the CD.) The LP was also reissued under the title <em>Otra Vez<\/em>.
