Williams sent a postcard with an aerial view of Vero Beach, where he lives now, setting the record straight.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Thanks for very generous\u00e2\u20ac\u201dif unwarranted\u00e2\u20ac\u201d warm words in <em>Rifftides<\/em>. But thought I should correct \u00e2\u20ac\u0153mayor of Vero Beach\u00e2\u20ac\u009d bit. I was City Commissioner (&#038; vice-mayor one term) for 20 years in Hollywood, Fla. 1971-1991. Elected to 5 terms, 4 yrs. each. Did a good job. Have a nice park named after me.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The <em>Rifftides<\/em> staff regrets the error.
