He called my attention to these little verses by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yipharburg.com\/\"target=\"_blank\">Yip Harburg<\/a>, one of the greatest American lyricists (\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Over the Rainbow,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00e2\u20ac\u0153April in Paris,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00e2\u20ac\u0153It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Only a Paper Moon,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d among 600 or so others).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> No matter how much I probe and prod<br \/>\nI cannot quite believe in God,<br \/>\nBut, oh, I hope to God that He<br \/>\nUnswervingly believes in me.<br \/>\nO innocent victims of Cupid,<br \/>\nRemember this terse little verse:<br \/>\nTo let a fool kiss you is stupid,<br \/>\nTo let a kiss fool you is worse.<br \/>\n&#8220;\u00a9<em>Rhymes for the Irreverent<\/em>, E.Y.
