Spellman NEA Jazz Masters Award for Jazz Advocacy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/rifftides\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/owens1501.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/rifftides\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/owens1501.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"owens150\" width=\"100\" height=\"130\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2731\" \/><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><p>Each recipient will receive a one-time award of $25,000 and be publicly honored next January at the annual awards ceremony and concert, produced by Jazz at Lincoln Center at its home, Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City.
