Presented by the Institute of Jazz Studies, the series runs every Sunday on WBGO-FM (88.3).<br \/>\nTenor saxophonist Jay Corre&#8217;s (n\u00c3\u00a9 Lischin) career goes back to the 1940s with the Raymond Scott and Boyd Raeburn orchestras.  But his time in the spotlight came in 1966-67, when he became the most frequently featured soloist in drummer Buddy Rich&#8217;s big band.
