It includes stories about Clark Terry\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s visits to his old friend before Thompson died.  Coady also describes Ellis and Branford Marsalis going to Thompson\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s hospital room and drawing out a man who had been mostly silent for years.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Branford played for Lucky, and in a moment none of us will ever forget, Lucky asked for something. Frankly, I had just never heard Lucky ask for anything\u00e2\u20ac\u201duntil this moment.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>He asked Branford to play some more. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d like to hear more,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d he said.
