Fair warning: if you get this job, you will have to work with me.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><b>Job Title: Communications Manager<\/b><br \/>&nbsp;<br \/><strong>Job Description <\/strong><br \/>The Orpheus Chamber Orchestra seeks a driven and creative Communications Manager to lead and oversee all Marketing and Public Relations initiatives. The Manager, with the assistance of the Subscription and Office Coordinator and external Publicist, will plan, supervise, administer and evaluate all marketing activities, including but not limited to: public relations, advertising, season subscription and renewal campaigns, ticket sales, subscriber activities, and branding. The candidate will need to be adept at cross-functional thinking, multi-tasking, high-level strategy and timely, efficient execution. Strong collaboration with and support of other internal departments (e.g. Development, Education, etc.) and with all presenting partners is a necessity. In addition, this person will supervise an intern<br \/>\nfor the division and provide administrative support as needed to the<br \/>\nDirector of Marketing and Special Projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate Profile and Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills and a strong<br \/>\nknowledge of classical music. While familiarity with HTML and web<br \/>\ndesign software is not necessary, a general &#8216;tech savviness&#8217; and<br \/>\nunderstanding of popular social media platforms are required. We are<br \/>\nlooking for a bright, organized, detail-oriented individual with at<br \/>\nleast two years of professional experience.
