{"id":358,"date":"2009-10-22T22:29:15","date_gmt":"2009-10-22T22:29:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/lifesapitch\/wp\/?p=358"},"modified":"2009-10-22T22:29:15","modified_gmt":"2009-10-22T22:29:15","slug":"second_best","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/lifesapitch\/2009\/10\/second_best\/","title":{"rendered":"Second best"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have this thing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sitemeter.com\/\">&#8220;Site Meter<\/a>&#8220;&#8211;which is exactly what it sounds like&#8211;set up for our ArtsJournal blogs, so we can see how many people are reading us, from where, at what time, so on, so forth.<\/p>\n<p>One of the intriguing aspects of Site Meter is that I can see what people have Googled to get to me. &#8220;Amanda Ameer&#8221; Google Image searches crop up every once and a while and totally creep me out, but most Google searches that get you to home sweet <i>Life&#8217;s a Pitch<\/i> are &#8220;how to find a publicist,&#8221; &#8220;classical music publicity,&#8221; etc.. This one, in addition to the recent Yankees&#8217; lead on the TV, really made my night, though:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"BestPublicityintheWorld.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/lifesapitch\/BestPublicityintheWorld.jpg\" class=\"mt-image-center\" style=\"margin: 0pt auto 20px; text-align: center; display: block;\" height=\"219\" width=\"500\" \/><br \/>That&#8217;s right folks: according to Lord Google, this right here is is the second stop for the Best Publicity in the World. You should all feel quite pleased with yourselves for reading.
