Surely someone could have ponied up a mere 45 mill?<\/p>\n<p>From <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/innovationNews\/idUSTRE56D65Z20090714\">Reuters<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><\/i><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The New York Times Co said it will sell its New York City classical<br \/>\nmusic radio station WQXR for $45 million, in a two-part sale that will<br \/>\nhelp the struggling newspaper publisher pay off debt.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"midArticle_byline\"><\/span><span id=\"midArticle_0\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The station will continue to broadcast classical music, something it<br \/>\nhas done for 73 years, but at 105.9 on the FM radio dial instead of<br \/>\n96.3 FM, the Times said in a statement on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"midArticle_1\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Under the terms of the deal, Spanish-language broadcaster Univision<br \/>\nRadio will pay $33.5 million for the 96.3 slot on the FM radio dial<br \/>\nthat the Times uses to broadcast WQXR.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let them eat something else!
