She presumably employs some 50 professional musicologists analyzing pieces on the basis of 400 musical attributes to arrive at an unfolding playlist which you can tweak with directions at it unfurls. Delightful hours of listening result.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: arial; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;\">I don&#8217;t have an iPhone (yet), nor an <a href=\"http:\/\/store.apple.com\/us\/browse\/home\/shop_ipod?cid=OAS%2DUS%2DKWG%2DiPodBrandTerms%2DUS\">iPod<\/a>; I prefer open air sounds of the city to channeling anything directly into my ear canals. However, I discovered Pandora ages ago and set up a station (free via laptop internet connection) that I haven&#8217;t previously shared. Lots of rhythm and swing, few ballads. A work in progress, of course.<span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; white-space: normal;\"><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: 11px;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; white-space: normal;\">By which I mean I keep fiddling with the seeds, trying to come up with a perfect mix of the modal and chord-running, electronic and acoustic, instrumental and vocal, rootsy or abstract, Asian and Afro-Caribbean, familiar and unimaginable.
