Just before the anesthetic took effect, she<br \/>\nlooked up at her surgeon and said:<BR> <BR>&#8220;If I don&#8217;t make it through this, promise me one<br \/>\nthing.&#8221;<BR> <BR>&#8220;What is it, Sonia?&#8221;<BR> <BR>&#8220;That you won&#8217;t vote for Bush for<br \/>\npresident.&#8221;<BR> <BR>The doctor promised her there was no danger of that. Alas, Sonia didn&#8217;t<br \/>\nmake it.
