McFadden as<br \/>\n<A class=inline href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2004\/08\/30\/politics\/campaign\/30protest.html\"\ntarget='new\"'><B><FONT color=#003399>&#8220;a roaring two-mile river of<br \/>\ndemonstrators,&#8221;<\/FONT><\/B><\/A> we leave today&#8217;s commentary to pop expert <A class=inline\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.ryan-mcgee.com\/blog\/\" target='new\"'><B><FONT color=#003399>Ryan<br \/>\nMcGee&#8217;s running account<\/FONT><\/B><\/A> of the really important stuff: last night&#8217;s <A\nclass=inline href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2004\/SHOWBIZ\/Music\/08\/29\/mtv.ap\/index.html\"\ntarget='new\"'><B><FONT color=#003399>MTV Video Music Awards<\/FONT><\/B><\/A>.<br \/>\n<\/P><br \/>\n<P>This not only gives us a rest. And yet, they&#8217;re threatening to let Ashlee<br \/>\nSimpson perform after the commercial break.<BR><B>7:22 pm: Kurt:<\/B> &#8220;So what&#8217;s your<br \/>\nalbum like, Paris?&#8221; Paris: &#8220;It comes out in January.&#8221; Wow. Diddy&#8217;s boat. And why Naomi<br \/>\nCampbell&#8217;s doing her impression of Imam in the Michael Jackson &#8220;Remember the Time&#8221;<br \/>\nvideo.<BR><B>7:32 pm:<\/B> In the category of &#8216;White People Saying Things They Shouldn&#8217;t,&#8221;<br \/>\nBruce just told John No-No-Norris that, &#8220;I&#8217;m just here running with my friend Sean.&#8221; White<br \/>\npeople shouldn&#8217;t run with anybody unless it&#8217;s David Lee Roth and he&#8217;s running with the devil. It&#8217;s<br \/>\njust a personal opinion.
