Cut, paste print: a graphic history of political photomontage (1917-1991)<\/em> opened recently at La Contemporaine, a public institution associated with Paris Nanterre University. As the title declares,<\/strong>“the exhibition presents an international panorama of the history of photomontage, spanning the 20th century, and its close link to political history and the history of graphic forms<\/strong>.” <\/em>It is curated by Aline Th\u00e9ret, librarian, and Max Bonhomme, lecturer in design and visual culture at Strasbourg University, and a specialist in the political use of photomontage. The exhibition is free and open to the public. It will run until March 14, 2026. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
