“Thought this would give you a smile,” he wrote. “Look whose book shows up in the first pic of this article.” It appears from the photo that my biography of the Hollywood director William Wyler,\u00a0A Talent for Trouble<\/a>,<\/em>\u00a0turned up in the secondhand book sale of the late Robert Gottlieb<\/a>‘s private library. Putnam published the biography in\u00a0hardcover<\/a>, which is the edition Gottlieb owned. (Da Capo Press published it in\u00a0paperback<\/a>).
