these\nGerman plumbers\nwho invariably turn\nthe slightest incident\ninto a philosophical conundrum?\n\nBeclouded in my grid\nof craziness and conceit,\nthe months go stuttering by\nwith their recondite equanimity.\nFor all these years now\nI've been hardening on the outside,\nsoftening on the inside,\nmy soul a flimsy exoskeleton\noxidizing in the exhaust fumes,\nnow alarmingly
