That year, too, she received the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/National_Humanities_Medal\">National Humanities Medal<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gordon-Reed teaches at Harvard, where she is the Carl M. Loeb University Professor.
