The discussion \u2014 using as its focus a stylish new biographical book about AOC from the editors of New York magazine, Take Up Space: The Unprecedented AOC<\/a><\/em> \u2014 is to occur in a free online Zoom conversation<\/a> on Wednesday, April 13, at 7:30 pm ET. Lisa Miller<\/a>‘s contribution to the book is an account of AOC\u2019s unlikely rise. Rebecca Traister<\/a> contributed an essay explaining\u00a0why AOC is an unprecedented figure in American politics. Miller and Traister, both writers for the magazine, will be joined by\u00a0Michael Kazin<\/a>, professor of history at Georgetown University and author of\u00a0What It Took to Win: A History of the Democratic Party<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
