It&#8217;s why they love<br \/>\n<A\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.comedycentral.com\/tv_shows\/thedailyshowwithjonstewart\/\"><B><EM><FON\nT color=#003399>&#8220;The Daily Show.&#8221;<\/FONT><\/EM><\/B><\/A> Because it&#8217;s smart, informed,<br \/>\ncrude and passionate. Like young people. Young people will argue vehemently with you for hours<br \/>\nabout party politics, about religion, about love and war and peace and that weird new $20 bill.<br \/>\nThey will curse when they argue, using words like &#8220;fuck.&#8221; Then, once they are done, they will go<br \/>\nout to a bar and get fucking blasted-ass drunk and go home with another young person and fuck<br \/>\nlike bunnies until they pass out. That&#8217;s their world, and if you wanna live in it, you&#8217;d better print<br \/>\nit.<\/BLOCKQUOTE><br \/>\n<P>The trouble is, by that reasoning <A\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/main\/start\/\"><B><EM><FONT color=#003399>The New<br \/>\nYorker<\/FONT><\/EM><\/B><\/A> should be more popular with young readers than <A\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.magazines.com\/magcom\/covers\/0\/06\/092\/0060925.jpg\"><B><EM><FONT\ncolor=#003399>Us Weekly<\/FONT><\/EM><\/B><\/A> or <A\nhref=\"http:\/\/store1.yimg.com\/I\/supersuscriptions_1767_11156537\"><B><FONT\ncolor=#003399><EM>People<\/EM><\/FONT><\/B><\/A> &#8212; and it ain&#8217;t. Is it possible that young<br \/>\npeople are not as passionate and smart as claimed? That they&#8217;re just vulgar?
