Families of 9\/11 victims saw the designs last night in a<br \/>\npreview at the Winter Garden across the street from Ground Zero, where a public exhibition of<br \/>\nthe designs begins today. Kennedy. The<br \/>\ncommemorations have already begun. Paul Krassner&#8217;s latest Zen Bastard column, <A\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.nypress.com\/16\/47\/news&#038;columns\/zen.cfm\"><B><EM><FONT\ncolor=#003399>&#8220;Conspiracy Queen,&#8221;<\/FONT><\/EM><\/B><\/A> is a tribute to a woman who<br \/>\nspent eight years cross-referencing (without a computer) the 26 volumes of the Warren Report<br \/>\nand ending up with more than 27,000 typewritten pages, as well as the conviction that, contrary<br \/>\nto the report, &#8220;Lee Harvey Oswald was set up to take the fall&#8221; for the assassination.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>By contrast, this week&#8217;s TV specials commemorating the events in Dallas&#8217; <A\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.earthcam.com\/jfk\/\"><B><EM><FONT color=#003399>Dealey<br \/>\nPlaza<\/FONT><\/EM><\/B><\/A> confirm the <A\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.jfk-assassination.de\/WCR\/index.html\"><B><EM><FONT\ncolor=#003399>Warren Commission Report<\/FONT><\/EM><\/B><\/A>, to the extent that they<br \/>\nbother with it at all. Which is not surprising when you consider the <A\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2003\/11\/19\/arts\/television\/19WATC.html?8hpib\"><B><EM><FO\nNT color=#003399>excellent point that TV writer Alessandra Stanley<br \/>\nmakes<\/FONT><\/EM><\/B><\/A>: &#8220;The swirl of interviews, documentaries and specials building<br \/>\nup to Nov. 22 are not really about the 40th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination.&#8221; They&#8217;re<br \/>\nreally a self-regarding celebration of television: &#8220;the day a young, vigorous medium was swept<br \/>\ninto power and forever changed American culture and politics.&#8221; Here&#8217;s a <A\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2003\/11\/19\/arts\/television\/19PROG.html\"><B><EM><FONT\ncolor=#003399>roundup of the TV specials<\/FONT><\/EM><\/B><\/A>.<\/P><br \/>\n<P><STRONG>POSTSCRIPT:<\/STRONG> Hmm.
