Burroughs and their artistic collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>Mc Neill is an artist who can write. Really write. He brings a fresh analytical eye to the familiar Burroughsian fixations \u2014 synchronicity and doppelgangers, control systems, the word as virus, the number 23 \u2014 that dominate the memoir, while still offering a straightforward chronicle of the author\u2019s relationship with <em>le ma\u00eetre<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>OWF<\/em> draws an indelible word portrait of Burroughs unlike anything I\u2019ve read elsewhere.
