Here&#8217;s one of the six, titled <A\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.defenselink.mil\/news\/Oct2002\/200210034b.jpg\"><B><EM><FONT\ncolor=#003399>United We Stand<\/FONT><\/EM><\/B><\/A>, and here are two others, <A\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.defendamerica.mil\/specials\/oct2002\/sp100302a.html\"><FONT\ncolor=#003399><EM><STRONG>God Bless America <\/STRONG><\/EM><FONT\ncolor=#000000>and<\/FONT><EM><STRONG> Peace on<br \/>\nEarth<\/STRONG><\/EM><\/FONT><\/A>. The signed posters, which go on sale in<br \/>\nmid-November, will cost $150 each. Max will do &#8220;poster overpaints&#8221; for $8,000 each. <\/P><br \/>\n<P>Given the mission of the Pentagon and&nbsp;what happened there on 9\/11, and the unsubtle<br \/>\nstyle of Max&#8217;s art, it was to be expected that he would beat the drum of national pride. The<br \/>\nposters load up on flag art and capitalize on that great icon of American mythology, the Statue of<br \/>\nLiberty. Unlike the <A href=\"http:\/\/memorial.pentagon.mil\/model.htm\"><B><EM><FONT\ncolor=#003399>contemplative design<\/FONT><\/EM><\/B><\/A> for the Pentagon Memorial<br \/>\nitself, they&#8217;re all about overstatement.
