Alison Knowles, Barbara Moore, Martha Wilson, and I will be participating this evening in a panel about the glory days of Something Else Press, moderated by Hannah B. In 1969, several years before I became editor of Something Else Press, the founding publisher Dick Higgins<\/a> and the German artist Wolf Vostell<\/a> put together one of SEP\u2019s most attractive and inventive books, the lavishly illustrated Fantastic Architecture<\/a><\/em>. They included my proposal for Carnegie Hall, and I hope that book comes up for discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have no doubt Alison’s Fluxus piece, “The Identical Lunch,” will come up for discussion. It consisted of “a tunafish sandwich on wheat toast with butter and lettuce, no mayo, and a cup of soup or a glass of milk.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
