The Something Else Factor<\/em><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Alison Knowles, Barbara Moore, Martha Wilson, and I will be participating this evening in a panel about the glory days of Something Else Press, moderated by Hannah B. Higgins, at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emilyharveyfoundation.org\/newyork\/index.html?page=Pages\/nyart.html&amp;active=Ny%20Art&amp;pos=0&amp;cache=false\">Emily Harvey Foundation<\/a>.  It&#8217;s the first of four discussions organized by Christian Xatrec and Alice Centamore. The events are free. RSVP to ehf.nework@gmail.com <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1969, several years before I became editor of Something Else Press, the founding publisher <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dick_Higgins\">Dick Higgins<\/a> and the German artist <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wolf_Vostell\">Wolf Vostell<\/a> put together one of SEP\u2019s most attractive and inventive books, the lavishly illustrated <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.primaryinformation.org\/product\/fantastic-architecture\/\">Fantastic Architecture<\/a><\/em>.  They included my proposal for Carnegie Hall, and I hope that book comes up for discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
