Rosenwein.<\/a> Since the staff knows much too little about the Middle Ages &#8212; and even less about the 50 objects that the authors have chosen to explore from the European, Byzantine, and Islamic worlds of the Middle Ages  &#8212; it makes no sense to even attempt a review. Instead, to acknowledge that their lavishly illustrated work caught our eye, here is a notice posted at <a href=\"https:\/\/rmblf.be\/2018\/05\/18\/publication-the-middle-ages-in-50-objects-ed-elina-gertsman-et-barbara-h-rosenwein\/\"><em>Le site du R\u00e9seau des m\u00e9di\u00e9vistes belges de langue fran\u00e7aise<\/a><\/em>. What we can do is offer a look at a few of the objects. The images of these four may be clicked to enlarge them.
