The Universe — more like a great thought <\/p>\n

than a great machine — <\/p>\n

a soap bubble <\/p>\n

with corrugations — <\/p>\n

not the interior of the soap bubble <\/p>\n

but its surface <\/p>\n

and the substance of the soap film — <\/p>\n

empty space <\/p>\n

wedded on to empty time.
