Back in the mid-1960s, when Carl Weissner<\/a> discovered the British mimeo zine My Own Mag<\/a>,<\/em> he struck up a correspondence with its presiding genius, Jeff Nuttall<\/a>, and soon took My Own Mag<\/em> as a model for his own mimeo, Klactoveedsedsteen<\/a><\/em>. The two of them became pen pals and freewheeling collaborators \u2014 Nuttall in Norwich, Weissner in Heidelberg. Cold Turkey Press has just produced an illustrated folio of one of Weissner’s cut-prose letters. Have a look. <\/font><\/p>\n
